I’m (already) Dreaming of a White Christmas…

I get these “Playbill Club” emails with discount Broadway ticket offers and this morning I got one for Irving Berlin’s White Christmas on Broadway! I love the movie White Christmas, and so does my Wham so I forwarded her the email right away saying that we should totally go see it while she’s home. She emailed me back saying that she’s going to bug Dad to get them to come home early. Alex is even on board with going - he suggested that they spend the night in NYC when they fly in and we’ll come meet them the next day to walk around the city and see the show. I’m SO excited! I hope it works out!!!

I guess it’s decided…

… We’re not going to NYC today. We really just stayed up way too late, and so there is no way that we were going to be able to make the 2pm show, which we could have gotten stellar seats for. Since Alex is opposed to sitting in the nosebleed section, we won’t be heading down today to see the 8pm show either, as those are the only kind of seats remaining for that performance. We’re both still really interested in seeing Patrick Stewart in Macbeth, though, so we’ll be getting down to the city before 5/24 when the run of the show is over. Amy mentioned that she’d be into going, so maybe we could actually plan ahead and pick a Saturday when she’ll be available (but considering that she works retail, that might be never…). Also, I’m always hoping to at least meet up with Eric for a drink or coffee if we’re in the city and he and Sara are in CT this weekend, so we wouldn’t have been able to meet up with them today anyway. And… the weather here is amazing this weekend and is actually supposed to be sunnier and warmer than the city, so I think we’ll just enjoy a gorgeous Spring weekend.
